 Iza Marfisi-Schottman is a PHD student in computer science at the INSA engineering school in Lyon. She is currently working on Serious Games and developing an efficient way to produce them so as to resolve time and cost issues. Serious Games are pedagogical multimedia products made to help students develop specific skills by using the fun and attractive characteristics of games. They have experienced a tremendous breakthrough these last years and seem to offer an ideal solution to the educational needs of companies, schools, hospitals, armies... Among other tools, Iza is working on a method to evaluate the quality of Serious Games by using virtual players and thereby reducing the testing phase done with real users.
